Before and after lockdown, the volunteers have been busy this spring and summer. As well as the usual clearing of ditches, weeds and overhanging vegetation, mowing grass and general tidying, we’ve been levelling the track, fixing points, replacing sleepers, ballasting and repairing fences. We’ve also been busy starting on the refurbishment of the original Whorlton Lido Railway carriages. The photos below show some of the volunteers’ work.
