The railway is operated and maintained entirely by volunteers, and we rely on the generosity of our members and friends to survive. Your membership will help fund our current and future projects to restore and improve the railway.

If you want to get more involved, members can also help look after and improve the railway infrastructure, station, rolling stock, locomotives, grounds etc and help with operating the railway on running days. Or you could help behind the scenes with admin, publicity and fundraising. Please contact us for more details.
All members can participate in business meetings and vote at the AGM
Annual membership currently costs £14 for adults and £7 for children.
You can join at one of our open days, or contact us to ask for a membership form and details of how to pay. Please let us know if you’re joining as a new member or renewing an existing membership, so we can send you the correct form.
